5DMK2, 17-40L, ISO 100, tripod, no filters, left polarizer in car, 2 raw file blend, one for overall exposure, one for water. This was also on the Wahclella Falls hike in the Gorgous Gorge. I'm having a hard time with the comp though. I don't known if I like this comp. might be a bit blue for some of you. Anyway input appreciated and thanks for the previous remarks and looking.

I like the in your face comp. and I think there is enough of the verdant green we love here in the NW to balance the blue tones in the falls. Looks very natural to me. Nicely done.

Danny, the way you show us the downward motion is intriguing to me. I think the greens make for a very nice framing at the top, and the texture of the rocks in the lower part adds a lot and brings the image to life for me.

Excellent point of view here! Gives me a great sense of scale. The falls take the eye on a very pleasing journey from bottom to top.

Well done Danny! I think you have the perfect comp on this.

Colour's spot on and the nice, strongly vertical composition emphasises the fall of water beautifully.

I did the same exact thing when I did that hike. Fun! Kinda a tough shot and not sure I liked mine either. Laughed when I saw the thumb though :)

I have looked at this for awhile and it has grown on me. I like the comp, a different view of a water fall.

I really love this long and narrow format. What an interesting way to showcase this waterfall. :toast:
