Identity Crisis #503

Am I this or that? Charlie thinks I am a bird photographer. I don't know. If I stuck to one thing, I would get burnt out. Just in case I am a bird photographer, here is a flower. This is Chilean Aster which I moved from the wild to my yard. It attracts more insects than all of the other flowers on the place put together.

That water droplet on the closest petal with the refraction of the aster is awesome. The droplets really make this image shine! :toast:

I like the composition, color combination, and especially the water droplets.

RL, the water droplets on this flower are amazing, especially the one where you can see most of the flower.

What lens did you shoot this with?

Hello, Shirley. I used a 200mm Nikkor AIS with a pn-11 extension tube on a tripod.

It's a good looking image Robert. The droplet makes it for me. I like the composition and color palette as well.

Wow! This is stunning! There's a lot going on here - but that large droplet provides a clear point of interest, I think. Beautiful colors!
