The morning light on the grasses and tree tops caught my eye and I just had to shoot this. From the San juan Mountains of Colorado.

That's spectacular. I like the foreground as much as the mountains. Lots to look at here, all of it good.

i like this comp (as mentioned on RMNP) and Kane brought some great points to take it to another level - but you did all the real work already by getting a strong composition.

This is lovely Jack. What a beautiful autumn color palette. As previously noted, the foreground colors and textures are striking. The clouds look a little clipped on the left portion of the sky, but overall I am really appreciating this.

I love the soft foreground and the stillness of the lake. Without the mountains it has an easterly feel to it. Real nice capture Jack.

Beautiful shot, Jack. Great color and contrast, and a nicely balanced comp. I like the warmth of the fg in contrast to the cool blue of the bg.

Must have been a beautiful day in your life, Jack! The image speaks of the simple and sunny days when we feel like flying and of course of optimism and hope.

I think I've driven by that pond on my way to Blue Lakes trailhead? Good that you stopped if that is the same place. Excellent job balancing the shadow and FG grasses. I might crop out the highest clouds on the far left, but a sweet shot any way you look at it. Those mnts. rock!

What a beautiful spot. I'd love to be camped there enjoying the morning light, sounds, and smells.
