Really like this atmospheric animal-scape Sandipan, love the bird in the upper left quadrant too!

Although the lay of the land may been exactly as we see it here, if this were mine I'd be tempted to give a slight counter clockwise rotation to better level out the line of the horizon ... then again, I might be looking at this wrong, in which case pay me no mind ;^)

Impressive image. I also like the bird. Would like to have seen the elephant from a slightly lower position so its back does not blend in to the line of shrubs (?) behind it. Of course that may not have been possible. Thanks for sharing, that is a very nice Asian elephant. My guess is a bull.

The colors in the scene are great and the elephant adds scale and interest to the image.

Very nice Sandipan. This would not work half as well if it were a tusk-less elephant; despite this being an animalscape with the subject quite small in the frame, those enormous tusks are still impressive and the focal point of the image.

Love the wide perspective here Sandipan! Gorgeous mood added by the mists and the layered BG.
I have not seen many Indian Elephants in images with tusks as large as these

Sandipan,

I like this a lot as posted, not sure that I would change a thing. It has a very nice feel to it plus the mountains, grasses, mists give this a great sense of place.

Very dramatic. Like the mountains in the background with the low clouds.

Stunning photo. Love the receding mountains, fog and the bird on the left showed up right on cue. I noticed that the horizon of the foreground field might use some leveling.
