1D Mk iv, 600mm x1.4, 1/1250s, f5.6, iso 400. Cloned out half a bird.

I haven't been doing much photography recently, hence my lack of participation. Things are looking up though and I hope to get cracking again. Thought I would post one I have a love/hate relationship with and look forward to others' opinions.

Welcome back. very cold feel to this, the sea looks like snow. The pano crop works well and i think it is a pleasing shot and pleasently differant :toast: :toast:

The panoramic crop suits the subject well, and as Phil says, it has a cold winter feel to it - just the sort of thing we can expect soon.

Hello Ian.

Good choice of crop and suits the image nicely.

Overall I like the image quite a lot and the only thing I would probably do is to remove the yellow area on the right of the sea line.

Thanks all

A useful comment thanks - that's why I have the love hate relationship with the series I took. There were boats appearing in the distance and I have some where they are better defined - it's invaluable to get the opinion of others.
