Golden Plover

Gallery: Regional: UKNPPosted October 10, 2011197 views14 comments

One from July of this year, Golden Plover photographed at sunrise.

Wish I'd had the time to drop the 1.4tc as it's a little tight on the right, but I'll settle for it until the next one comes along.

1/1000th @ f5.6 -1/3rd iso800 ( 98% of FF )

Please view the large version

Thanks for the feedback on my last image and thanks for looking.

Andy...

Good color and pose. Detail is fine and I agree on the self critique on tightness.

Love this shot Andy - was after something similar myself in Shetland and didn't quite get it so am most envious.

As you have mentoned, a tad tight, but the detail and the light more than make up for it imo :toast: :toast: :wavey:

Andy don't worry if it's a bit tight the rest more than makes up for it,excellent.

Personally I would settle for the tight frame to be that close to a golden plover. I do like the lighting on the bird.
