ShawangunkRidge & Skytop

I drove on a country road parallel with the Shawangunk Ridge earlyish this morning to get the morning light shining on the ridge, and also to include Skytop in the picture. The foliage in Ulster County, NY is finally materializing. Here's one of the shots I made. Larger version posted as well. I was striving to have Skytop large enough so it didn't look like an incidental or an accident, but at the same time to get enough of the ridge and the foliage in to portray the context for Skytop. Thank you for viewing!

Nancy, I think the colors in your foliage are very special, and I like the building atop the ridge. The larger version looks as though there's a lot of noise in the image but I can't really tell. Adding shooting data such as lens, camera make, ISO, etc would be helpful.
I also think you achieved a nice skyline.

Regards,

Carol

Looks great to me, Nancy. I have seen this place, and I think you captured it well.
Comp looks good as is, but I wonder if it might look a bit nicer witoug quite so much sky.
