Nothing unique here but I liked how the elements came together

Full Frame, cloned out an OFF bloom, sharpened using smart sharpen and toned down the yellows to prevent them from being blown in CS5 on 27" iMac

Great shot of a Monarch, Luke. Wonderful lighting and nice diffused bg. I would suggest a tighter crop, from bottom (to below left larger leaf), top (directly below oof top right flower) and a slight left crop. Then cloning out the bright stem along the right side. This would help direct attention to the bf. Just my opinions however,

I really like how the background color compliments the monarch. Really good details. I think I might try cropping just a bit from the top. Excellent as posted too.

Pretty nice, Luke. It all looks good to me, from the composition through DOF, etc. Perhaps the yellows are a little too subdued on my screen, but you wouldn't want them competing with the Monarch anyway.
