The Japanese Barberry bush is considered an invasive species in many parts of Pennsylvania. This was taken in a meadow in the mountains of northern Pa. several years ago. I liked the simplicity of the design with the lovely fall colors.

Canon Rebel T1i. 250mm at F/5.7 for 1/320 sec. ISO 1600. Settings don't make the most sense but I was playing around with my new (at the time) camera.

I like it very much Carolyn. Simple and graceful with beautiful color and a fine supporting bg.

Excellent low level shot, Carolyn, not easy to make these. The reds just pop out of that smooth greenish background. The curve in the stem also adds so much to the composition.

Nice curve to the stem here Caroyn. I like the color and how it stands out from the BG. A pleasing photo.
