Fresh Snow

This photo was captured one week ago today. It was snowing when I left my hotel room in Ouray. It is a two shot pano with two shots worth of exposures hand blended. Anyways, I am pretty happy with it and I hope you all enjoy it.

Love the snowfall which brings a freshness to the image Michael. The clouds are nicely formed and the color of the background trees are very nice. Not sure if I'm totally sold on the foreground conifer but I think does add some interest to the photo. Well done.

Weill composed and I like the lighting. Also of interest for me
is the way that the clouds seem to flare out or radiate. Good
detail in the shadowed areas. When I photographed around
Ouray I was there about a week before you, and there was
no snow.

Lovely. I like the comp quite well and also the balance of light with both the shadows and highlights showing great texture.

It's amazing how quickly a landscape can change. I was in the Ridgway area before the storm rolled in around on Oct 2nd. The character of the landscape here is completely different from what I witnessed. I always enjoy the contrast of snow and fall colors and this showcases that contrast well. No nits from me, Michael. This is a great shot!!

Great view Michael, and I think your comp works very well. Wonderful light and the new snow makes this beautiful to look at. The sky really works great with this too. I do enjoy it!

Pretty! I love the radial flow to the sky. Id like to see a bit more clarity in the fg, otherwise looks good. Glad you got out to see the show! :wavey:

This is a beautiful scene and shot! I can't see a single flaw, both technically or aesthetically. Very nice!

Very nice alpine snow scene with some great light! I might like to see a little more punch?

Very nice work, Michael. I like the way the clouds accent the peaks, as well as the dusting of snow and the first rays of light. Great shot all around.
