A dusting of snow on the surrounding trees ... and the pond free of ice...woulda been nice! Nonetheless, it is always great to watch the sunrise in the wilderness.

The famous Tipsoo Lake reflection shot...one of my favorite easy go to spots!

Nice B&W conversion Ken, too bad there's no detail in the blacks.

Wow, this image is all about extreme contrasts - very bright highlights and dark shadows as well as the contrast between the detail in the mountains and the absense of detail everywhere else. I think that makes this image work. The one suggestion that I would have is to consider a crop of some of the sky above the tips of the trees as well as in the reflection below. But, I don't know, there is still enough interest in the sky with the streaky clouds and it works with the overall contrasting theme. Great capture!!

Nice comp and the bw works well here. I would like to see some shadow detail but it works as is too.

Classic beauty, Ken. The silhouettes actually work pretty well in this B&W version.

Classically beautiful BW image Ken. Very nice, don't know how anyone could do better with this scene.
