Love the light play. Feels awkwardly slanted to the right though. Maybe a small rotation to the left for balance??

Brutally beautiful light Simon. I see the trees are very perpendicular so do not think a rotation is in order.

I love the position of the trees and the streaking of the light. I don't think it needs any rotation

Beautiful image Simon. My only critique is that when I first viewed the image my eye was drawn to the very bright spot on the upper left edge, Cropping that out let my eye go back into the image.

Nice capture and some beautiful light. One of those photographs where you can sit and look at it for a long time

Great capture of the sun rays. The light play created is unique and interesting. I like it.

Wonderful play of light and shadow. A small crop from the left to remove the really bright spot there and this image is golden (in more ways than just the color). Very nicely done

Some amazing light. I agree that cropping the brightest spot at upper left helps from taking your eye out of the image.

Dynamic image with those light rays! If you were able to tone down the hot spots in the upper left, a bonus. ANother option might be to crop off the left, and have the boarder being a shadow area, there by creating a natural frame for the image and keeping the eye mid frame. The se moments don't often last long, glad you got it! :toast:

I would second a crop from the left. Gorgeous light.

Exceptional light.. I agree it seems slanted but that's an illusion, since the trees are perfectly vertical.
Congrats on a cool WP!
