Photogs on St George, AK

Here's a quick 'snap shot' from my recent visit to St. George Island (in Alaska's Pribilof Island Group) for a scouting trip for my 2012 St. George Photo Tour.
This was not intended to be a landscape or a documentary shot, I just liked the light and didn't mind the photogs in the photograph But I ended up really liking the composition, it became one of my favorite shots from the trip - even though it's not something I usually shoot.

As a side note (and not trying to get into advertising too much here ) I am offering a HUGE discount for early signups for this tour - how does free roundtrip airfare from Anchorage to St. George sound? That's about a $900 value...

Some really nice warm light that certainly makes one feel like being there right now.

You caught some beautiful light here Dave. Looks like a great place for photography. I visited Alaska a few times in the early '80s and want visit again at some point.
