Canon EOS REBEL T2i

I wanted the other visible brown part to go the same way as the others, but it's not a natural position for it and I couldn't make it stay any other way but its natural way.

Comments and suggestions are desired and appreciated. I am still traveling but will catch up on my own comments for others throughout the day.

Thank you!

Almost abstract in nature, the browns like bold brushstrokes across the golden petals. Simple, dramatic, and engaging.

I like the comp and as already noted the browns against the back lit yellows is very nice. Fine image.

Very cool shot, Barbara. I love the symmetry of the composition with the brown brushstrokes against the back yellow bg.

Not sure how you accomplished the lighting, but it is very good, as is the extended DOF. Another excellent image from boot camp.

Beautiful shot with terrific composition. I like the flow up from the LR and how you've filled the frame with interesting elements.

Very pretty - nice colours and contrasts. Since the 6th stamen was not cooperating, I'd suggest cloning out the little bits of the visible part - they don't add anything. I'd also like to see a bit more detail in the rust pollen.
Nice!!

Barbara: Good vision again and a fine result. I do think I would make the tiny sliver of the anther behind the pistil go away. I especially like the amount of BG you show and the positioning. Very well done.>=))>

Nice shot Barbara. The patterns the pistils make almost makes this look like a painting.

Superbly done. What growth from you in such a short time. You should be very proud of the work you have put in to get where you are now. :toast:
