There are some beautifully coloured birds in India and this is one of them, I took this in Sat Tall in the Himalayan foothills, 17th April 2011.

Marvelous shot Ken! We have Verditer Flycatchers over here in Thailand too, although not an easy species to find or photograph - at least not for me! Hope to capture an image as fine as this one though in the not too distant future, thanks for sharing!

Very fine shot: of course the birds makes it all, but perch and BG are pleasant as well. Good details in the feathers too. Like it ! :toast: , Hans

This was the first time I have spent anytime in India specifically birding and I know virtually nothing about this bird.
