Good color and great detail of this heron. A nice capture of the action, almost missed the little fish in his bill. I like the OOF bg & FG. Thanks for sharing, had not seen a photo of this species of heron before.

A nice position for this heron and the small fish adds to the image IMO. Detail and exposure look good. Nice sense of habitat too.

Wow, beauty. I'd probably crop the OOF FG out, still leaves plenty of room and to my eye improves it a bit. awesome shot either way!

Wow, interesting bird and a great, candid shot. I see a lot of Great Herons, it'd be nice if one of these would visit sometime while I'm out shooting. Anyway, great job, excellent detail, color, and DOF. :toast:
