Settling dust

A buffalo herd on the move stopping to eye us suspiciously, while their own dust is settling around them. They pretty soon came to the conclusion that we were of little interest and started grazing. With the lack of motion the dust disappeared fast and so did most of the scene. I wish we had arrived a little earlier, but such is life.

Comments and critiques greatly appreciated.

Good as is. Just enough visibility to identify the buffalo. More dust and you have a picture of light and little else. :toast:

Very appealing Johan, I really like the semi-silhoutted herd as well as the wonderful lighting. Thanks for sharing!

Awesome Johan! I remember this moment well and know you sure made the most out of this fleeting moment. I like how you have used the trees on both sides to frame the buffalo.Processing is spot-on and is a very accurate presentation of the actual scene as we saw it. :toast:
