Another from my journeys to the front yard. I like this because of the supporting leaves and such, let me know what you think please.
D80, 280MM, ISO100, F20 @ 1/10, tripod, cable release
Thanks
Bob

Bob:
Excellent exposure on these white blooms; looks just right. Also like the supporting bg with the exception of the stem in the LLC which tends to draw the eyes a little. A pretty image as posted.

Thanks Gary, I was at a toss-up about that.

A very good cloning job, very natural looking. Repost is better.

Really says Fall to me, Bob, but it looks a little blurry… I like the comp and all the various elements.

Bob, the repost works. Really like the detail/whites of the blooms.

I like the design the flowers make and the way the pop out of the back ground. I think the background really compliments the flowers.

I love the white flowers against the dark background, and I like the repost better without that one stem.

Robert, I like this better than a previous similar posting. And I'll bet money, marbles, or chalk, I made a similar suggestion the last time. Consider boosting your ISO so you can shoot at a faster speed. In spite of the tripod and cable release, I think you're picking up some breeze.
I like your composition.

Carol

Like the repost especially, Bob - I think that stem is indeed better out of the way. The high contrast, allowing some but not all of the surrounding greenery to emerge, works beautifully for me. Just wonder if the whites are a touch too bright, but this is an excellent image.

Bob: Beautiful subjects and a fine capture. I do like the repost but the original is plenty OK with me. Well done.>=))>

Great use of the dark background to accentuate these lovelies. Pruning the three small blooms and leaving the four large would be a great shot too, almost like a flower peace-sign.

Hi Robert Yes!! The repost makes it even better Beautifully composed with great whites.. Love it !!! Agree with Carol, shoting at iso 200 will give you more speed, without a loss in detail
