Nikon D300s, out the car window, f8, 1/800 300 lens plus 2 times teleconverter.

Very nice May, great detail in the feathers and the eye. Without the bit of out of focus flowers in the background there may be a bit to much of the perch in the shot, but I think you made the right choice as it just seems to adds to the shot. Well done. :toast:

Lovely bird and head angle. A couple small suggestions, I might clone out the "whitewash" on the post and at least on my monitor it seems the white balance has a bit of a magenta cast to it. Nice capture. :toast:

Beautiful, May. I might have tried a comp that had less post and sacrificed the flowers, but would probably have ended up back here. Hard to believe a bird of such appalling habits can be so beautiful.
