Nice capture. Great details in the Kestrel. I'm not wild about the green post or barbed wire, but you didn't have any control over that.

Nice background and I like the colors on the Kestrel and that nice green on the perch. The lunch makes this a little more special. I'm not sure if I want the barb wire straightened -- might try it just to see what that looks like. Gratz on getting close enough for this great shot

Andy, I love these birds and I like the fact this one has some prey in its talons. I would try to selectively lighten the bird, especially the eye. Maybe play with bringing up the shadows.

Nice pose and I like the BG as well. Must have been a wet morning judging from the drops on the barbed wire and wet underside of the Kestrel.

Very nice capture; love the water drops. Not so wild about the green post, but sometimes the birds don't get the memo.

I think this is fantastic as posted, Andy. Green post doesn't bother me bit. Bg is gorgeous along with the bird...heck, you even got his tail on this side of the wire! Well done. Sharon

Nice detail, pose, and prey. I don't mind the post and wire - it was his choice!

The American version of this is about my favorite bird. They are tough to get close to. I appreciate your skills to achieve this. I like the water droplets on the barbed wire. Nice one.

Gorgeous shot of this bird (one of my favorites) sure it would have been nice if it was a natural stump but the fact that the post is green with alge actually helps, and it's not like you had much control over where it landed
