Dichotomy

I was drawn to the dichotomy of the two faces of the dunes, one rendered featureless by the wind, the other sculpted with incredible detail and texture. This was taken from the top of a dune, looking down on the saddle between the two dunes. I would appreciate any comments and critiques of the image. Thank you!

Fantastic large scale abstract Scott. Love the contrasts and especially the textures in the upper half.

Real fine abstract, Scott. I love the near monotone look that works so nicely with the shadows and lines.

Really like this. It would look topsy-turve anyway you hung it. The simplicity and graphic presentation work very well.

Good stuff, Scott--hypnotic top works well with the spacey bottom! I must go visit this place sometime...

Excellent find, Scott! I like the varying tonalities and most of all the lines
composed mostly diagonally. The image moves from FG smoothness to
textured areas in the middle and BG. Well thought out and presented.
