The bird's nice sharp and you retained some good detail in the whites Angela.
Very cool little bird, great shot! :wavey:

Sweet! Great pose, tack-sharp, nice perch - the stray twigs add interest so it is not just a BOAS.

Nice pose and setting. A bit bright on the throat, though.

Angela, I like the simplicity of the image with the relatively subtle suggestion of habitat in the lower right. Nice pose and detail in the blacks but some of the whites do seem slightly bright. A tough exposure to get just right.

Angela, I so want to get a good image of this bird. Monday, I had an opportunity but it would not come close. You have showed me what I want to capture someday. I like the composition.

You've captured good detail, I agree that the white in the throat area could be toned down a little. Very nice work!

Angela, Beautiful uncluttered image of the LHS teetering on this twig. Excellent exposure with the blacks and whites both showing fine feather detail. The BG is a lovely compliment to the entire photograph. I would be curious to see the image cropped a little closer. The Shrike would be a bit larger in the frame, and be even more striking. Or should I say 'Shriking'.
