Sugar Land, TX November 2011
D3 ISO 800. 500/4 with 1.4 tc. f5.6 1/800s +0.3ev. Hand held.
Just for fun. Got off a couple of shots before the duck flinched and the turtle did what he does-slide into the water.

Angela, You have made our evening (my wife and I try and review NPN every evening). We have had a pet red-eared slider for 19 years and this image is great. Thanks so much for posting. Can't comment on techs because I just love the image.

Unique and unusual image Angela, you really "seized the day" here
Techs look great too. I think that single red leaf adds well also, sort of compliments the birds beak.
Well done!

OMG No Way. That is way too funny. It's actuallya pretty cool image with alot of great design like the diagonal water and the way the opening of the angles rocks offset the center. Love it. Nice head turn too.
