Mt. Adams a few weeks ago From Larch Mountain in Oregon. We were lucky enough to get up to the top of Larch Mt. a few days before they closed the road. I really wanted to get Mt Hood from this vantage but it was socked in...the result was a nice diffused pink sunrise around Mt. Adams. Thanks for looking.

Gorgeous shot! The mist and clouds add a lot to the scene and the pastels are wonderful. Works perfectly for me.

This is very different and very nice. I like the layered ridges in the midground. This has a lovely 'gentle' feel to it (for want of a better word) I'm loving it

Real pretty, Jeremy--but im not crazy about the WB, it feels a bit too 'blue' to me; i think if you warmed it up a bit the pinks/orange of the sunset would really shine--here theyre somewhat overwhelmed by the coolness. That's just my personal preference tho--your mileage may vary

That is very pretty Jeremy. I love the soft haze with the mountain peaking through in the back. The pink sky then really adds to it.

Wonderful colors and depth, Jeremy. Very nice comp too. Mt. Adams was definitely the image waiting to be taken.

Thanks guys.

Here ya go Stan and thank you for the critique...I agree it was a tad blue. However it was a very cold morning, so I believe the temp. is fairly representative.

What a great view, Jimmy. I really enjoy the feel of this. All the layers here are fantastic! It must have been wonderful being there to see and feel this! Very nice work.

Jeremy,

Love the color and layers here. And rather than looking at WB, I'm thinking in terms of luminosity. I'm wondering what a little more brightness and accompanying contrast would do. Not so much that you change the mood or the time of day that this was captured at, or so much that you change the layering, but maybe just enough to give this a little more subtle pop. Then again I'm looking on my laptop and maybe that's affecting my view here.

The only other comment I wanted to mention was the heaviness of the foreground ridges. Not a big deal, but I almost want to see either less of the dark ridges for balance or perhaps a compromise in brightness that brings the ridges closer to the midground ridges. Minor deal, but thought I would mention it.

A beautiful and grand scene Jeremy.

Incredible. The soft light and color palette are outstanding, and I love the ridge lines receding back to the mountain. Fantastic image.

Jeremy,
This turned out really well methinks. I am kind of with Lon on this one. If this were mine, I would crop out the dark ridge in the fg, making this one really sweet pano! :toast:

Jeremy, this has the GSMNP feel, and the dawn colors are comfortable. The repost benefitted the sky alot. The darker ridges are grabby, so could see lightening them up. I like their counter angle to the left side. I like this image.
