Yaki Vista

This image was taken back in August from Yaki Point. Just a few light rains were falling across on the north rim, but the western clouds fortunately did not block the setting sun. I have reworked this image for a submission and print, so any suggestions and nits are welcome. A larger image is provided.

This is a real beauty, Doug. I totally enjoyed looking at your large version...it is Beautiful! Great comp, great sky, wonderful light and color. Can't think of anything you need to do, just make a big print! This is excellent work!

Very nice, Doug! I never get tired of looking at the Grand Canyon, especially at sunrise/sunset when the shadows play among the peaks and ridges and the colors are at their best. The only thing I can think of to suggest would be to slightly increase the contrast in the rim area in the upper right (in the distance) but its very minor and perhaps not even worth the effort! Beautiful!! :toast: :toast:

Doug,

A very clean, crisp and clear image from the GC. This is well seen and photographed. I like the cropped format too. No nits or suggestions.
