Rundle Valley

Here is another shot from my shoot in Canmore last weekend.
Here's a link to the last shot.

As Tom pointed out on the last image, the peak on the right is Mount Rundle, but this is the backside of the mountain that is in just about every postcard from the Banff area. The peak on the left is Ha Ling Peak.

This was taken about 10 minutes before the previous post, just as the light hit the trees in front of me. Let me know which composition you prefer.

I like this composition better, as it concentrates on the peaks and the nicely lit trees. The other composition was fine too but the emphasis on the foreground ice didn't work as well for me as your composition here.

Otherwise, very nice work all around. I particularly like the light on the trees . . . great timing!

Really great, the reflections in the ice, colors and the composition. I love it.I have nothing to complain about.

Great shot, I like both images! However, if I had to choose, I'd probably go with this one, because I love how the simplified foreground really emphasizes the reflections...
But both are lovely!

This is very pretty. I think I like it better than the last one.

An absolutely beautiful color combination of warm/cool here, Jeff. Love your composition and processing. This image has far more grandeur and impact that the vertical.... much nicer light imho. Exquisite work.

Beautiful image, Jeff. The light and colors are wonderful. I very much enjoyed looking at your large version. I felt like I was right there feeling the fresh, cool air. Like the others I enjoy both, but I would pick this one as my favorite. Excellent!

Jeff,

This is a beautiful landscape image. Beautiful light, color and a well balanced composition. I prefer this one over the previous, although these are two different comps and stand perfectly on their own. No nits or suggestions.

Looks great Jeff! Although bot shots are good, I prefer this version mainly because the inclusion of Ha Ling Peak on the left.
