Tim,

Welcome to NPN and the Landscape Gallery. Excellent first post! You've captured the mood and atmosphere very well and the roots are showcased nicely. The "path" works nicely as a lead in line pulling the viewer in to the scene giving this a little depth . Now the title gives it away with the "trail" and this technically might belong in the Man & Nature gallery. But minus your title and I have a hard time convincing myself the trail is all that obvious. Anyway, something to consider for future posts.

Glad to have you here and we look forward to your images and participation. Welcome aboard.

Lon

Nice mood photo. Like the way there is some detail in the trunks at the same time the distance is obscured by the fog.

Love the spooky, fairy tale like atmosphere. Good work Tim!
