Came across this one whilst getting stuff ready for a lecture.

Lovely shot! Great colors, and love the pose! The feather detail is beautiful, also...love the water droplets coming off the beaks!

You should make a Valentine's Day card out of this one! Nicely seen and captured! Sharon

Great position of the birds John. Agree CCW rotation needed. Otherwise it looks really nice to me.

Thanks all
Glad the rotation has been raised. I tried it before I posted and its wierd ! The line of reeds at the back s ok but the birds need a left rotation of one and a half degrees. But when you do it, the back reed line looks terrible!
Strange.

John, My wife and I try and review NPN every evening and discuss the images. We both loved everything about your image. Of course we have are different opinions. she thought is was Swan love and I thought two males butting heads. Thanks for posting this wonderful image and the great home discussion you caused. We had a lot of fun.
by the way, I honestly do not know which way I would handle the rotation but I am leaning towards leveling the swans and let the reeds do what they may. The swans are the main subject. IMO

Wonderful image and good timing to get this, nice job on handling the whites, the larger image looks great with the different beak colors, way to go.
