Harrier Too

This is a harrier from a week or so ago here in northern Utah... with the colder temps these raptors have been a little more active, and I was able to get out and photograph them for a couple hours.

Thanks for looking!

Nice BIF image John. It's pretty neat that you got a head turn and stare toward you as the bird was banking to the left- offering a great shot of it's underside. :toast:

Nicely done. When these birds bank, speed changes and very often so does direction of flight so they're hard to track - especially with a non-sky background. Great ventral look at the bird, nice eye contact and exposure. I like the colors throughout.

Great look at the underside John. Nice blurred habitat for a background. Good look at the eye with a slight head turn towards you. Congrats John. Merry Christmas.

Like that slight head turn showing off that bright eye.Light looks as if it could not have been better as the underwings have so much detail showing.Lovely capture so very sharp.
