Though not the most successful in terms of the number of comments here on NPN, I think this is my best shot of the year. Other than that, it's also been taken in the most beautiful place on the best trip of the year. :smile:

Hi Fabio, thanks for commenting. This is in Oman, in the desert known as the "Empty Quarter" (which mostly lies in Saudi Arabia, but a part stretches into Oman), to the west of the Abu al-Tabul waterhole. That's as precise as I can get. :smile: Great place, lots of really beautiful star dunes. Happy new year to you, too!

I love shooting in the desert. This is why. :) All that texture in the sand, the gorgeous shapes... it's such a wonderful place to get creative. This is really nice, Basil!
