The perfection of this stem of orchids is what really attracted me to them. Shot in my bathroom "studio" in natural light. All comments welcome. >=))>

Lovely flight of orchids across the frame, Bill ! The petal shapes, with no stalks, make for a nice pattern and the whites are perfect. Great use of the bathroom !!

These are perfect beauties, Bill! Wonderful detail and the black BG really gives them a chance to show off. Studio in a bathroom? . . . hey, I guess wherever the light is good. . . Is that their "home"?; viewing these first thing in the morning would be a glorious way to start the day! :smile:

Excellent use of the frame, Bill :cool: - with good placement for the 4 overlapping blooms at a nice angle. Works well as presented for me :wavey:

Your relationship with orchids are certainly blooming. The white looks real good on black. BTW what is the bg?

Gary: A simple black mat board about 2 feet bahind the flowers.

You are starting the new year off with a bang Bill . The bathroom (studio) lighting works really well for this shot ! Though I think you could come up with a posher title for your studio, maybe Studio Loo !!!!

Wonderfully shown on black Bill. I've walked by the orchids in the store the last few days and am close to making the plunge. I can only hope to achieve 1/2 the results you have gotten.

These look good enough to "eat". . . I agree that this is wonderful use of the bathroom. The thought has NEVER come to me that when I use the bathroom that it might be wise to bring my camera along! :biggrin:
