This is shot near Sharks cove in North Shore, Oahu, Hawaii.

This is a 4 exp blend blended by hand, please let me know if there are a lot of issues with the blend.

Provided a larger version.

Canon 7D, 17-40L lens @22mm

F20, 1/15, ISO 100.

Thanks for your comments and critique as always.

Looks like a good job on the blend to me. Well done, the dynamic range had to be pretty high!

Soubhik,

Lovely ocean sunset. What really catches my eye here besides the setting sun is the little tiny pool and the skies reflection in it. I think without that this would not be as strong. As is, the middle ground, or ocean I should say is a little empty, but you do have some nice light reflections from the setting sun.

The blend looks real good from a light/exposure point of view. However in the larger view I can see some issues. There are some ghost waves just below the mountains off in the background. Of course that happens with multiple exposure blend images when you've got motion in between frames. I would revisit the blend just in that area below the mountains. Otherwise, it all looks good.

Thanks John and Lon.

Good eye Lon - I will work on the ghost waves.

Blends with moving water are particularly tricky. That said, it looks like you did pretty well with this aside from the issues that Lon notes. It's a very nice scene altogether and I've no nits or suggestions.

It looks pretty good to me, Soubhik! I really like the sunset especially, nice job with the exposure. It might have been even stronger with a little more drama in the waves/surf--but obviously you have to take what you're given. :wavey:
