Saguaros Silhouette

This is from Four Peaks Road looking back at the McDowell Mountain Range in Arizona. The rain storm was very intense, and I had to hike back to my truck to wait it out. Just before sunset the sky opened up with amazing colors.
I did see a barb wire fence at closer look, hope it is ok. Comments welcome.

Beautiful take. Good job aligning the cacti up against the background.

Really very nice, Kyle. From the "purple mountains", and right on through the rest of the image is just wonderful...

i really like this image but I'd like to see it sharper for the web - that's minor. great color!

Love the image, Kyle, but it looks a bit soft. Is the chrome sharp? Beautiful colors and sweet silhouette.

I like the layers and colors on this one. Two minor technical nits: the web version could be sharper as others mentioned and there is some red chromatic aberration along the mountains.

Nice shot!

Spectacular sky and a terrific row of saguaros setting it off. Excellent capture.

Quite intriguing with the mountains in the back going magenta. I wish the bushes weren't there though, or if the one on the left was smaller.

Excellent. Wonderful landscape: very simple (silhouettes do a lot there) and the color is magnificent.

Gorgeous Kyle! Can't say I've ever seen a saguaro comp like this before, what a great set up. And the sky ain't too bad either! Perhaps a little heavy on the saturation, although I know it was Velvia... I too noticed the chromatic aberration along the top of the mountains, but not sure I can recommend what to do about it. Hard to say unless I knew what was on the slide.

But no matter, this is still beautiful.

Great way to make the most of the gorgeous storm light. My only concern is a slight softness to the cacti.

Very nice light and totally evocative of the Sonoran desert. Could maybe see cropping a bit more black off the bottom to actually emphasize the silhouettes a bit more.

Spectacular! Great catch of the light (Arizona is so fortunate in that regard), but the comp is very strong too; it complements the color perfectly.

A really wonderful silhouette, Kyle. The colors are great and I enjoy the layers you have here. I think your comp worked out perfect. Nice work.

Beautiful sunset. Four Peaks is a wonderful place! I like how the 4 main saguaros mirror the 4 peaks. Good job!
