Another wigeon from a few weeks ago. Had a great late evening with these ducks, but can't seem to replicate the situation. The birds will be around until March, so I hope to get a least one more chance.

Nice incoming duck shot. You have good wing position sharpness and detail in this shot and the light is nice. I also like the BG and how the green shine around the eyes shows up well. Nicely done.

Ron B, stunning in flight image. The sharpness and exposure would be great for a Wigeon in the water let alone in flight. Great job.

A lovely image. That pop of iridescence on the head is a perfect match to the background greenery. Great detail in the bird and the water droplets really add a lot.

Excellent. I just don't know how you manage to do this so consistently. But I suspect it has a lot to do with skill, experience, field time, and patience.

Oh my goodness, Ron! I'm noticing your name consistently showing up under wow-factor bif images. This is, simply, exquisite. Wonderful job in the field and in processing. Compelling composition as well. The inclusion of the OOF water in the background makes this even more interesting and beautiful.

Dang Ron,
I can see why you'd want to replicate this. What a shot. I love the out of control look that is typical of a duck about to land. The background colors add a lot to the image. Good detail and sharpness. You still a few weeks left to get some more. Good luck. :toast:
