Redwood Light

Not sure if I've ever posted this image. If I have (and anyone remembers) I apologize. I've been going through folders and re-processing images, this is the latest. It's from a bunch of years back on a trip to Redwoods. I had the worst weather, crystal clear skies and no fog, until this, the last morning of the trip. As always thanks for taking a peek.

Looks pretty sexy to me. Sure there is detail in the shadows in a larger version. Nice catch

This is sweet Kurt. Hard to tell on this small size, but I might consider boosting contrast just a little. Love the composition and the rays are superb. Well done.

Wonderful beams and cool mood to the image. It works rather well!

No fog my only trip to the Redwoods. Luck of the draw.

If you did post this previously Kurt, all I can say is thank you for posting it again! My only nit is that you didn't post a larger version! :toast:

Very dreamy atmosphere here, Kurt. The crepuscular rays shining through the fog elevate this woodland scene another notch. Beautifully done! :toast:

NIce range of tones and I like the ray direction against the angled trees.

Beautiful shot Kurt. the rays are stunning and the framing by the trees makes it feel almost Cathedral-like

This is very nice, Kurt. Images like this seem to have broad appeal, and for good reason.

That really perfect light, Kurt. Really like how the light rays are framed by the trunks.
