I drove to this lighthouse in the hopes of photographing a beautiful sunset. That did not materialize, but the light on the clouds before sunset turned out pretty nice.

I intentionally kept this image on the dark side as it was dusk when taken, but is it too dark???

Hey Carol,
For my tastes you could open up the buildings but the sky is awesome.

What a wonderful scene. Really enjoy the way this feels. Those clouds look fantastic! Nice work, Carol.

Not too dark; just right for dusk. Beautiful image, in fact, with the good stuff in there– rocky cliff, lighthouse and buildings, people watching sunset, the sea and a boat. Clouds are characterful and the lighting throughout the scene is varied and interesting.

Beautiful comp. and what incredible clouds! The buildings and foreground seem kinda "muddy" or dark. Would be nice to see those opened up some. The boat passing by is perfect!
