I get a feeling of a lot of empty space and solitude and wish there was more cover from the approaching weather.

The reversal of tones with the dark at the top and the light below is disconcerting, which adds a dramatic effect. There's a lot of emptiness in the left lower part that extends across the frame; that the lay of the land there slopes into the scene helps a little. But I find myself wanting to put a couple of mesquite bushes or something in the left fg to help balance the image without interrupting the slope.

Dramatic image! At first I couldn't figure out why this was in the M&N gallery. Then I looked at the larger one and saw the road!  I should be more observant! I would propose cropping a little off the left, up to where the background mountains start. A little off the right too, to just before where the mountains start. And finally, a little off the bottom. I think the tighter crop would give this image more visual power of the coming storm. Very nice shot!

Nice pano--I like the contrast between the dark clouds and light grassland. I do like the cropped version a little better.

Nice pano composition. I like the lay of the land with the contrast between sky and dry vegetation. The repost is my preferred version.
