A view of Slough Creek (Yellowstone National Park) from one of my favorite places to camp. Large Grizzly crossed the creek right here one day.

Canon EOS-1D Mark II, Canon 17-40 f4 L@ 40mm, 1/200, f/4, ISO 100 Processed on Adobe Lightroom 3.5.

Hi Kenneth,
Very nice scenic! It seems like it might be over sharpened. At least to my eye. It looks like an idyllic spot to relax and watch for bears and wolves!

Nice composition here but ouch on the sharpening...can you take it back just a bit?

Yeah - thought I had posted the smoothed version - hope I haven't lost it - this one is some kind of mutant.

Some sharpening correction, as mentioned, and pull back on the exposure a touch to bring a little more detail in the cliff faces up top and you are good to go. I like the comp as well.

Thank you for sharing this view. It looks picturesque. I've purposely avoided Slough Creek during my travels in the Yellowstone for the very reason you mentioned - grizzlies. Other than the sharpening, maybe clone out the cut down tree in the LRC. Please share more if you have them for this area. Yellowstone rocks!

What a beautiful looking place! You already know about the sharpening so hopefully you find the other version.

Great suggestions from everyone on this image.

I'll just second the vote that Yellowstone rocks! I don't know if there ever can be enough time to be there!
