Candles

My wife and I volunteered at a youth summer camp in the Black Hills of South Dakota last summer. On Friday night then had a candle light banquet. While we were waiting for the food the candles on the table caught my attention. I had my camera with me and decided to try some shots. This was hand held, bracing my elbows on the table and practicing breathing techniques from my target shooting days. All C & C are welcome.

Looks pretty good for handheld. One thing I might have done, and this may not have been possible, but I would have tried to have the two candles line up in different areas of the frame like have one more right and the other more left. Since your focus is on the forward candle, I think that would give the overall comp more balance but also allow you to make a distinction between the FG candle and the BG candle. I am not sure if you use photo editing software but I would have also cloned out the lens flare as well to keep it from being a distraction. :toast:
