From last june an image of a small Satyrinae (I hope the English name I put on title is correct), taken at mid-morning, on a sunny day - Natural light, sharpening, almost full frame.
Nikon D300s; Sigma 180mm f3,5 ; ISO 200; F5; 1/640; -0,33 EV; tripod
All comments welcome, Fabio

Butterfly and it's excellent perch stand out nicely from the bg. the seedhead on the grass really gives a good sense of scale for this little guy. Wonderful presentation

Awesome macro shot--beautiful comp, and I really like the position of the wings so you can see both the back and the front side.

Outstanding again, Fabio. Love the grass head as much as the BF. Perfect isolation of the seed head and BF. :toast:

Excellent composition, subject and details. The background is pretty good, but I think that if there's one element that might be improved, it would be an even smoother background. However, this is very minor - it's an excellent photograph.

Fabio:
Another wonderful image! The BF is tack sharp but also wish the perch is also completely sharp...may be not possible without compromising the beautiful bg.
