great shot, here is little bit problem with composition, would be nice to have landscape format and see more from beautiful vegetation around.......

Looks like a very nice shot - sure wish you'd post larger images (I see Scott already told you about new image sizes).
Great colours here. The bear, being dead-center, detracts a good bit. A lot more room on the right for him to "look into" and much less on the left would improve this greatly.
I agree that a landscapr format would show off the great fall colours more effectively.

Love the assortment of fall foliage ! A little description would help us better enjoy your experience vicariously and result in improved feedback. Composition wise, i like it as it is.

Hi Colin,

Colours are pretty fantastic here and I quite like diagonal slant of the bear's posture. The small size and lack of information posted with the image makes it hard to say much more or offer meaningful suggestions for improvement.

All image posts are most welcome in this gallery, but it would be even better if you were able to contribute a few comments on the images as others as well. The success of all the NPN image critiquing galleries are dependent upon both image posts AND comments, and the ultimate source of comments is from the members. Thanks in advance.

Wonderful setting with the color range. I agree we need a larger version and stats to tell more.

Dramatic pose with great color in the environment. Although i like this as is ( lots of tension and suspense as to what has captured bear's attention) a little more room for bear to look to the right would be good, too.
Also agree, sure would like to know the story behind this shot.
