Hard to be critical when there is no larger image to view but from what I can see you have a pretty nice perch and a good background. Exposure looks good and you have a catchlight in the eye. Don't think I can add much more though. Sorry.

Hi Colin, welcome to NPN. As the others have said this looks like a really nice shot but at this size it's hard to say much else. You can post up to 720 pixels on a normal post and there is an option to add a larger image up to 1200 pixels when you first post. Use the "save as" function after you downsize it to 720 pixels and then use the quality slider to save it as close to 300kb as you can. It's also helpful to include your exif info (shutter speed, iso, F-stop etc) and a little bit about how you captured the photo (where, how). I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Composition looks excellent, Colin. I agree with the others on the size. One minor correction to Nate's comment-the maximum file size for the 720 pixel image is 200KB.
