Taken at Weeki Wachee Preserve, Florida

1/2000 at f8 and ISO400
Canon 500mm
Canon 7D

I have no room at the top or the bottom.

I know its cramped at the top and could use a bit more room at the bottom but I can't ignore this picture.

Cropped at 53%.

And rightly so it shouldn't be ignored. The wing position is incredible and the intensity in the eye is well captured. I would clone out the tiny speck of something (maybe a tree branch) at the right edge of the photo.

Great action image! Nice detail and pose.
It would be very simple to clone a bit of canvas where it's needed.
Nesting season is a great time of year.

Really a wow image, Scott. The osprey and all that spanish moss are great. Lot of cloning artifact in the lower frame though.

Great action and outstanding wing position. More detail in the dark feathers would be nice.

Say "hi" to the Mermaids for me.... This one looks great, Scott. I would take out that tiny branch tip on the right. I like the action here, and the large version really shows off the detail. :toast:

what a great shot, looks little bit to tight on the top and the bottom looks like branches are disturbing, it is veeeery easy fix, but I would give 10 from ten anyway :wavey: :toast: :wavey:

Wonderful shot. Extend the frame at the top and left. Agree with OOF branch comment. While there are small things that would improve the pict, it is still great. Keep up the good work.

Wonderful wing position and I love the hanging moss, you just fit him in there. Did you do some cloning in the bottom left and bottom right of the frame? :toast:

Incredible action photo Scott, great wing position and wonderful details.Certainly worth some additional canvas attention up top and fixing the bottom of the frame.

This is nice scott. To me the entire image is a bit too dark. The whites are looking a bit underdone to me. Bringing up the enture image would so, bring back a bit more detail in the darks as well.

wow--not an image to ignore, Scott--this is super! and a great job keeping it in the frame vertically! you've gotten good advice that I won't repeat, well worth spending a little fine-tuning this.
