Its Orange

Being cold and windy, its was time to play around with some images taken last year.
Taken indoors, this Gerber daisy image was creating by running one single image though Photomatix HDR software. Frankly, the only significant changes it made was enhancing the yellow in the flower. Other enhancements were created using Nik Color efex filters to bring out detail and adjust contrast.
Shot taken by a Nikon d7000, Tamron 90mm, f45 at 1250, with natural light.

Ken, I like the off center comp and beautiful, bold colors. Excellent floral close up.

Beautiul flower image, Ken. Wonderful colors and comp. Wonder about cloning out the white spots in the upper right to make them orange. F/45?!? Wonder if you really needed that high an aperture to get all in focus? I know Mike likes to use high apertures but at this high of a number I think one risks some lens abberation and blurring. Irregardless this is a beautiful image!

Ken:
Nice off center comp and compelling color. I agree with Carolyn about the white along the right edge. An alternative is to crop a little. Also I think there is diffraction blur as the purple center is not as sharp as one expect.

Hi Ken :wavey: Well composed ,with delightful color and lines!! The outer edge of the flower looks sharper than the center  Perhaps F/45 is too much for this lens.?
