Singing frog

Here is another frog picture in keeping with my current frog theme. This is, of course, another ice abstract from my ice photo shoot. I often imagine the designs look like an object or creature; I think this looks like a frog singing with bubbles coming out of his mouth.

Canon Rebel T1i. 90mm macro lens. F/22 for 1/3 sec. ISO 100. Tripod mounted, natural lighting.

Another great shot of the bubble series, Carolyn, you catch almost everything on that ice- The singing (or crying) frog has a great clarity, and you can easily see a pair of glasses falling from its left eye- Surely a very pleasant and stimulant picture, Fabio

This is a neat photo, Carolyn. I can see the frog and the bubbles coming out. Certainly an interesting abstract image. I wonder if you hand openned up the aperature a bit if you could have gotten this even sharper. I wouldn't think there was a lot of depth to the components in the photo and openning up might have gotten closer to the lens sweet spot.

I have to agree with Gary. I'd call it "The Shattered Scream"

What a riot Carolyn! I saw this going through All Photos and frog was the first thing that came to mind. Fantastic abstract.

This would make a good ad shot for iced Budweiser  Very attractive image. It's surprising how you can have humour in a shot of something so simple.
