The cream colored rose is my all time favorite and this close up was taken with Canon20D, using Tamron 90mm lens.

Beautiful, Patricia. I like the shallow DOF. Perfect for the subject. :toast:

Patricia: Brilliant comp and lighting and a superb DOF/POF choice. White roses are my wife's favorites but I have exactly zero images of them that I like. Can I have this one? Beautiful image.>=))>

For a simple rose abstract it has a lot of verve. Very nice lines and composition. :toast:

The cream color makes a very relaxing image with enough sharp swirls to keep me looking. Lovely.

Superbly lit and composed, Patricia - and I like the subdued tones very much.

Patricia:
The lines in this look like a conch shell rather than the classic whorls that one sees with most rose images; a refreshing and fine perspective. Also like the creamy look. The image looks a little on the dim side and I wondering about brightening this up a tad just to see what difference it might look.

You have captured the nature while designing and painting with a beautiful color. Splendid, Patricia.
Take care.
