Great Egret

I liked the white egret against the bleak tree branches. I usually see these guys in the water, so the tree shot was something different. I wish I had lowered the ISO, as I would have had a sufficiently fast shutter speed with a much lower ISO. The ISO had been set earlier as I was taking images in a shady area. Comments and critiques welcome.

Jerry, I agree with you. It is nice to be able to capture a great photo of wildlife doing unusual or unfamilar things. Thanks for sharing!

A fine photo of a Great Egret perched. I don't think the ISO did you any harm. It allowed you to keep the smaller f-stop, which kept the foreground branches from blurring. As is, they make an excellent frame for the subject.

An interesting contrast shot with egret and darker background. This is a difficult shot to get right dealing with the bright light. I do not know if you had a chance to get any closer but I might of tired to move around in front and closer.
