Fraser's Hill, Malaysia
For those who are familiar with Fraser's Hill, Jelai Highlands Resort will be well known to you. The lights in the carpark remain on all night and attract huge numbers of moths, including some massive specimens. The birds then emerge from the jungle at first light for a buffet breakfast

Rob, What a beautiful bird! Great pose (I always like a rear view to show off the back and tail), interesting perch and nice BG.
From here the green BG is a bit bright and competes with the bird. If it were mine, I'd tone down the green just a tad.
Disclaimer: haven't calibrated for 2 months!

Excellent!

Rob,
Beautiful perch and composition you have going here. Like Sandy stated I too like the back side of a bird as long as you get a really good head turn which you've got. Good sharp details as well ad a glint in the eye. Well done. :toast: :toast:

Gorgeous, Rob. The subtleties of the delicate blue shades have been excellently captured as well as the tiniest of details. Excellent pose by the bird, too. VERY nice.
