Dust in my Eyes

This is a closer version of the photo I posted earlier. It is also a little further down the road, where I wanted to get the salt flats as the foreground in front of the dust wall. The light was coming from the South (left side) as a fairly low angle (3pm) and lit the front of the haboob, letting you see the varying textures of the cloud's makeup (dust, salt, sand and ??)

Nikon D300; Nikon 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 VR lens

This feels a bit more documentary-like and less artistic than the last one, Margaret. Could maybe see cropping some of the foreground to put more emphasis on the approaching dust storm.

Margaret - I'd have to say I prefer the 1st post. I felt a better sense of scale and the imensity of the cloud. I also liked the FG patterns of the 1st. The FG looks a bit soft here. A magical moment to see.
