This lasted but a few minutes, and when we returned the next day, it was gone!

We have been on the road a lot, so I apologize for being absent. And we are now doing a watermark, as we have had several instances of copyright infringement, all settled satisfactorily, thank heavens!

I was shooting right into the sun, and I wanted it hot so it would become negative space, but I certainly respect your viewpoint. Thank you for your comment!

I like the colors and the reflection, but the sky is way overexposed.

The composition is nice, along with the colors reflected on the sand, but the sky is blown out. Did you happen to bracket this image so you could blend in a darker sky?

Fine minimalist image. I like the strips of color. The hot sky seems appropriate and while it attracts attention, it doesn't keep me from enjoying the rest of the picture.

Thank you all for your comments. The sky was really hot, as I was shooting straight into the sun. It was early morning, and I liked the negative space it offered. That said, I certainly respect the opinion of those who do not care for it.

Take care,.
